SALARY: $20.80 – $22.95 Hourly

How You Will Make an Impact

Administrative Support

  • Greet visitors, answer phone calls and emails, and address or refer HR related inquiries.
  • Schedule interviews and meetings for the HR Office.
  • Complete income and employment verifications.  
  • Process invoices, bills, and payments and oversee inventory and ordering.

 

 Recruitment Support

  • Prepare and post job openings for internal and external job sites.
  • Track and process job application materials.  
  • Prepare materials for interviews and testing sessions.
  • Coordinate applicant communications and assist applicants throughout the application and hiring process.
  • Assist in collecting candidate documents and coordinate background check processes.

 

 Employee Onboarding

  • Prepare new hire packets and assist with the onboarding process.
  • Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and filed appropriately. 

 

 Performance Evaluation and Records Management

  • Maintain and organize employee personnel and benefits files.
  • Coordinate distribution and return of performance evaluations.
  • Process personnel action forms and salary changes.
  • Coordinate and prepare volunteer forms and reports.

 

What You Need to Succeed in this Role

To successfully manage the responsibilities of this position, a candidate should have at least four years of relevant work history or education or a combination of the two.  For example, a candidate may possess:  1) a high school diploma or GED along with four or more years of office assistant experience, 2) a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field with previous experience in a human resources or office related environment, or 3) a minimum of four years of a combination of relevant education and experience.
 
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to the highest level of customer and public service are important to us. We will provide comprehensive, on-the-job training for the selected candidate so previous experience in the human resources field is not necessary.

This position is classified as a Human Resources Technician.  A 3% salary increase will go into effect for 2025.
